A life shaped by movement and service
Eric Alston is the founder and lead trainer of Autism Skates Atlanta. Why Autism Skates Atlanta
Eric directs the program's vision, curriculum, instruction, and partnerships. His approach connects skating fundamentals with STEAM exploration and the everyday skills young people carry beyond the rink.
A Legacy Built with Community
Eric's contribution to skating culture is recognized in the African American National Roller Skating Archives in Washington, D.C. Autism Skates Atlanta carries that legacy forward by making the rink a place for learning, confidence, and belonging.
The Movement Is Bigger Than One Person
Families, Cascade Family Skating Rink, Cascade Dream Team volunteers, supporters, and participants all shape this work. Eric leads the program, but community is what keeps it moving.
